Lizzie, like many others, caught Covid in hospital - but, unlike so many others, she died at home and we were able to say goodbye. A very gifted special needs teacher and later distinguished miniaturist and needlewoman, her greatest gifts were her intelligence and profound humanity - attributes she used freely in the service of others despite later health problems. A modest giant amongst us.
